Yes, you'll always remember your proposal story and your first Mother's Day gift. But those aren't the reasons you're with your significant other. The everyday kindnesses are what keep your relationship strong. Korean artist Puuung agrees: "It's in the little things," and that's what she conveys in her super-touching paintings.
Her pieces are part of a showcase on Grafolio, an online forum for artists, called Love Is... And each drawing proves that love is not about the grandest gestures. In its purest form, it's subtle, right there when you need it and there to surprise you at other times. From saving your spouse's favorite section of the newspaper to leaving them a sweet note on the bathroom mirror, love truly is in the little things.
She explains her artwork on her Facebook page:
'Love' is something that everybody can relate to. And 'Love' comes in ways that we can easily overlook in our daily lives. So, I try to find the meaning of love in our daily lives and make it into artworks.
